- 30 ml Red Vermouth
- 30 ml Gin
Preparation:
- Add all ingredients to a mixing glass.
- Fill with ice.
- Stir gently for about 30 seconds.
- Serve in a rocks glass with fresh ice.
Garnish: Orange slice or orange peel.
✨ Mixology Class Tip: Small changes (such as an infused Campari or a premium quality vermouth) make a world of difference.
🥃 OLD FASHIONED
The Original Whiskey Cocktail
Why it’s called “Old Fashioned”: When cocktails became too fancy and over-complicated, people began asking for whiskey served the “old way.” Simple, honest, and timeless.
Ingredients:
- 60 ml Bourbon or Rye Whiskey
- 1 sugar cube
- Angostura bitters
- A splash of soda water
Preparation:
- Place the sugar cube in a rocks glass.
- Add a few drops of Angostura and a splash of soda.
- Gently muddle until the sugar is dissolved.
- Add the whiskey and ice.
- Stir for about 30 seconds.
Garnish: Orange peel and a Maraschino cherry (optional).
✨ Mixology Class Tip: During our class, we explored a richer version using fat-washed whiskey for extra smoothness.
🍸 AMIRO DRINK
Our Signature – Tropical & Balanced
A pinch of history: Created shortly after our restaurant’s opening for a wedding celebration, the Amiro Drink was crafted to pair perfectly with Caribbean cuisine. Our bartender designed this fresh, tropical cocktail to complement intense flavors without overpowering them—a true signature drink built for conviviality.
Ingredients:
- 45 ml White Rum
- 30 ml Passoã
- 20 ml Fresh lime juice
- 10 ml Simple syrup
- 15 ml Passion fruit syrup
- Top of Lemon soda
Method:
- Pour all ingredients (except the lemon soda) into a shaker.
- Fill with ice and shake vigorously.
- Strain into a glass filled with fresh ice.
- Top with lemon soda.
Garnish: A fresh lime wheel or wedge.
✨ Mixology Class Tip: Looking for something smoother? Try the Amiro – Sister Version. It features a rounder, less acidic profile, making it an easy-drinking and enveloping choice for an aperitivo or a light after-dinner treat.
“You didn’t just drink these cocktails — you learned their story and the art of making them properly.”
Enjoy recreating them at home. Cheers! 🥂
